Facebook’s chief of gaming for Europe Julien Codorniou told that real money gambling is a famous and well-regulated activity in the UK which is why they are permitting a partner to host the game in a safe and controlled way. Bingo is revealed as a social experience in the country therefore it only create sense to provide it on the social network as well, as Codorniou told.

Zuckerberg and company plans to use age-restricting technology to secure under-age players and vulnerable people from having approach to the app, although particulars of how they think to do that weren’t outlined. It is just unclear how much Facebook is predicted to earn from Gamesys. The social network reportedly draws about 30 % of income from other types of transactions.

UK Facebook users may also look forward to other social gambling app in the near future, including online slot machine games and Zynga-powered poker game, both games are based on real money.

Online gambling is still a arguable release in the US so we do not predict to see a similar release there or in other parts of the world anytime soon.
