Google’s vic Gundotra was not kidding when as he promised he’d send 6000 party invites using the just-launched invitations feature in Google+.
Not long ago the invitation by google’s vice president of engineering popped up in my inbox, looking suspiciously like a Google + comment, but with a graphical representation you can hide or reveal, some event details, a door down RSVP menu and a couple of field for including your name.
There is a plenty as well of room to write comments, +1 comments you want and check your availability in own Google calendar. With the mouse click another buttons and you are developing the geotagged location on Google’s map just a click away from navigation guidance.
Yep, sure enough, accepting the invitation automatically included event in my calendar, complete with a thumbnail photo of Gundotra.
Accepting invitation is just half fun. I also launch my first Google + events in Google +, which was comfortable for me and live in less than 60 seconds.
The GIGs may be the worst link here, since some seem smoother than others and now you have to scroll with a sizable variety, rather than sort or search by lot of themes just like birthday, barbecue, kids etc.
I do like, however, you can select from stationary themes, Gifs, your own pictures and new photos can be uploaded to serve as your visual.
You can draw an address from vast maps platform of Google, add contacts you have field online and access your Google calendar and picture library.
