Apple provides Flattr’s micro-payment

Two week ago, finally Apple has declared micro-payment donation app Flattr no deal exist. The iPhone manufacturer told that service violates the rules and regualations of App store with third party payments.

Apple has notorious secrecy regarding to its motives or what will be the compliant and appropriate method of doing that hat something new, a community manger of Flattr Siim Teller wrote in a blog post. What it carries the mean for the future of Flattr inside app for both iphone and iPad?

Flattr’s payment system belongs to use of third-party payment, but until earlier of this month it was not a major problem for Apple. It all started on May 6 as the tech giant refused an update for the famous podcast manger Instacast, which operate on Flattr’s platform.

The collection for donating money has to be done through web site in Safari or an SMS. As of final week, finally Apple has decided that even after some changes to Instacast, Flattr was still in the position to violate the terms and conditions of Apple store.

Even Apple has removed the grounds not accept Flattr’s app integration, as told by the Next Web, it is expected that iPhone manufacturer is being nervous in respect to platform competing with its own in-app payment system that provides the company 30% of each purchase.
